☀️ Summer / Mother / Full Moon

“She who creates, nourishes, and protects—with boundaries made of love.”

There is a moment, just before the fruit ripens, when the world feels full.
Heavy with promise. Rich with color. Bursting with life.

This is Summer, the season of the Mother.
Not just the biological mother, but the archetype within all women who knows how to nurture, protect, and create.
This is the energy of the Full Moon—radiant, potent, expressive.

But for many post-abortive women, Summer can feel conflicted.
There may be guilt around creation.
Tenderness around what wasn’t carried to term.
A fear that stepping fully into power or visibility will come with judgment or pain.

And yet… this season still lives in you.
She’s not asking you to bypass your grief—
She’s asking you to include it in what you create.

🌿 The Healing Invitation

After abortion, many women fear reclaiming their inner Mother energy.
They wonder if they’ve lost the right to create, to tend, to lead.

But the truth is: you were always a Mother.
Even if your motherhood looked different.
Even if it was for a brief time.
Even if it was a soul connection, not a physical one.

You are still a well of life-giving energy.
And Summer invites you to pour some of that energy back into yourself.

This is the season of boundaries, too.
Not to keep others out—but to protect what matters most.

🧘 Embodiment Practice: “Sacred Yes, Sacred No”

This is a standing or seated somatic practice to reawaken your creative center and restore empowered choice.

Time: 10 minutes
What You’ll Need: Open space and a willingness to move intuitively.

  1. Stand or sit tall, one hand over your heart, the other over your womb.

  2. Inhale deeply and let out a soft sound as you exhale—ahhhh or mmm. Let it come from your belly.

  3. Begin rocking gently side to side or front to back. Let your body choose the rhythm.

  4. As you move, say out loud:
“I say yes to what feeds me.”
“I say no to what drains me.”

  5. Begin to walk (or sway) in a circle, feeling the boundary of your own energy field. Imagine a glowing line around you.

  6. Whisper: “I protect what is sacred within me.”

Close your practice by placing both hands on your womb and saying, “I am safe to create again.”

🖋 Reflection Prompts for Summer

  • What am I ready to tend or nurture in myself?

  • Where do I feel the pull to give, and is it from fullness or depletion?

  • What boundaries do I need to protect my peace and power?

  • What does my inner Mother want me to know about how I care for myself?

  • What am I afraid will happen if I fully step into my visibility?

🌕 Moon Wisdom: Full Moon

The Full Moon brings everything into the light.
It’s a time of expression, clarity, and honoring what’s blooming—externally and within.

Full Moon Ritual:
Light a candle.
Write a letter to yourself as the Mother:
Not just as a parent, but as the keeper of your own life.
Thank her. Forgive her. Promise her protection.

Then read it aloud to the flame.
Let it be witnessed.

💌 You Are Still Whole

Stepping into Summer doesn’t mean ignoring the grief.
It means learning how to carry it with reverence—while also saying yes to the life that still wants to move through you.

🌕 The Sanctuary is where we practice this reclamation together—where your fullness is welcome, and your boundaries are sacred.
🌿 Beyond the Choice continues to support post-abortive women who are ready to live, love, and lead from a place of integration and softness.

In our next post, we’ll explore Fall / Queen / Waning Moon—the time of sacred grief, refinement, and reclamation of voice.

Until then, tend to yourself the way you would tend to a garden.
Gently. Daily. Without guilt.

With love,
Jennifer
